Nigerian traditional wear designer, Yomi Casual, has been around for a while and absolutely doesn’t disappoint. His designs have introduced a fresh and modern take on wearing traditional fabrics.
Now, Yomi Casual, owned by Omoniyi Makun, has unveiled his latest collection, ‘Man of the Year’ and it definitely makes room for the modern Nigerian man who embraces style and design and wishes
to stay true to his culture.
The collection features the traditional top and pants for men, however, the difference lies in the use of symmetry, colors and various prints. The collection showcases a variety of designs from collar embroideries to full embroideries and short and long sleeve designs.
Lastly, he incorporated some cool symmetrical designs for the ladies. The designs were flowy and quite empowering as they featured men’s designs with collars and button down shirts.
The great value to his collection is that it can work for a variety of environment and occasions. It can be worn to church, work and glamorous events.
